The Söchau outdoor pool is the ideal destination for families who want to spend a varied and relaxing day outdoors. Surrounded by green nature, the outdoor pool offers not only a refreshing break but also numerous leisure activities for every family member.

For sporty visitors, a spacious beach volleyball court and mini-golf courses are available. Here, friends and family can get active together, play exciting matches, or simply enjoy the pleasant weather. The area is well maintained and invites you to a game in a relaxed atmosphere.

General Renovation of Söchau Outdoor Pool – for more swimming fun!

Since the beginning of March 2025, work has been in full swing at Söchau outdoor pool – comprehensive renovations will soon provide even more swimming fun with fresh shine and an all-round inviting atmosphere!

  • Construction of paved parking spaces

  • Renewal of the fencing

  • Complete renovation of the green area incl. planting of shade trees

  • New facade, cladding, paving in the building area

  • Renovation of the beer garden and canteen area and fitting with new umbrellas

  • Renewal of the playground with new seating areas

  • Renovation of the water treatment building

  • Renovation of the electrical installation

Water fun for the whole family: baby pool and 35-metre slide at the outdoor pool

The baby pool is especially popular with the youngest guests. It offers shallow water where little ones can safely splash about. The gentle water temperature ensures that even the smallest visitors feel comfortable and can gain their first experiences in the water. Parents can keep a relaxed eye on their children here while enjoying the calm atmosphere.

Another highlight is the 35-metre slide. It provides thrills and fun for children and adults alike. The slide is safe and offers plenty of variety, making every ride down a pleasure. It's perfect for anyone who wants a bit more action without losing the relaxed flair of the outdoor pool.

New catering at Söchau outdoor pool

The catering at the Kräuterdorf outdoor pool has also been newly awarded: Going forward, LTR Thermenressort Loipersdorf GmbH will be responsible for the culinary wellbeing of swimming fans. Daniela Zrim and Lisa Payer from LTR have developed a new catering concept. New, cool drinks and dishes will be on offer – but the outdoor pool classics will also continue to have their place on the menu. For the relaunch, the entire catering area has been renovated. All equipment – from the refrigeration to the coffee machine – is new. The terrace will be furnished with new tables and chairs and complemented by a lounge area. A modern sound system provides the right music for a relaxed atmosphere.
