With almost 50 stalls, the Fürstenfeld Christmas Market is one of the largest Advent markets in Styria. In addition to genuine regional craftsmanship, the market impresses with culinary highlights and a wintery supporting program.

Krampus Run
During their devilish dance through Fürstenfeld's city centre, over 400 spine-chilling Krampuses from several federal states will raise a devilish racket at the largest Krampus parade in the Styrian Thermal Spa Region on Saturday, 21 November, starting at 6 pm. Fearless onlookers can marvel at the eerie fellows and their companions in their magnificent, handcrafted costumes and carved masks, which pull all sorts of wicked grimaces and sprout one or even several wild horns.

Information for spectators: The run is NOT fenced off with barriers; there are only a few barriers to form the curves along the route. Please do not let children stand on these barriers there, as this can lead to dangerous situations. Furthermore, we ask spectators NOT TO PULL THE KRAMPUSES BY THE HORNS - this can lead to life-threatening injuries!!
Lights Trail in Fürstenfeld
As dusk slowly falls over Fürstenfeld, a gentle glow lights up the tranquil Advent town each evening. With a “Magical Sea of Lights,” the city centre shows itself in its most festive attire! The lights trail stretches from the city entrance through the Grazer Tor all the way to Stadt-Zug-Platz. Special photo points and light features throughout the city create space for memories.
The traditional “Lighting of the Lights” will take place ceremonially on 20.11.2025 at 5 p.m. took place with a ceremony.
The Christmas lights will illuminate the city until mid-January.
