We would like to sincerely thank you for your visit to the Fürstenfeld outdoor pool. A wonderful swimming year 2026 has come to an end and we look forward to seeing you again in the 2027 swimming season.

The Fürstenfeld outdoor pool is the largest pool bath in Austria and captivates with its incomparable ambience. 23,000 m² of water and 100,000 m² of green space offer generous room for sun worshippers and endurance swimmers, for water nymphs, water rats and swim-ring wearers. The striking 10 m diving tower is an attraction for adventurers, and the sports pool lets sports enthusiasts "swim on the wave of success". With the 116 m long speed slide, the Fürstenfeld outdoor pool is richer by one sensational leisure attraction. The Fürstenfeld outdoor pool has been awarded the Styrian Pool Quality Seal.

A completely new dimension in terms of adventure and leisure fun awaits at the Fürstenfelder Freibad. Already a giant in terms of size, the largest pool complex in Österreich has been equipped with a 116-meter-long speed slide. A 12-meter-high access tower leads to the entry terminal of the slide. The traffic-light-controlled speed slide meets the highest TÜV safety standards.

With the speed slide, the largest pool complex in Österreich also boasts the longest slide of its kind among Österreich's pool complexes.

When it comes to action in the water, the Fürstenfeld outdoor pool has plenty to offer. The striking 10-metre diving tower is a magnet for adventurers, and the sports pool lets swimming enthusiasts ride the “wave of success”. The wide water slide is popular with young and old alike. The areas for swimmers and non-swimmers are clearly laid out, and particular importance is placed on excellent water quality.

Sporty and playful, the Fürstenfeld outdoor pool impresses with its especially family-friendly infrastructure. A wide range of attractions – from the trampoline area to street basketball and 6 beach volleyball courts – can easily hold their own against the swimming fun and provide pleasant variety for young and old.

The young visitors of the Fürstenfeld outdoor pool have their own realm in the children's pool. There is also a baby slide. Furthermore, a children's playground is available with an XL wooden ball track tower, nest swing, tree carousel, sandpit, play hill and other play equipment.

Free children's program (every Saturday, 1 - 3 pm)

Our young pool guests look forward to the free children's program every Saturday during school holidays from 1-3 pm. Among other things, there is puppet theatre, children's dancing, clown and magic shows, etc. There is also an ice cream raffle - 5 ice creams are raffled among all children taking part in the children's program.

• Group 6: 16:00 - 17:00 (non-swimmers)

• Group 7: 17:15 - 18:15 (non-swimmers/swimmers)

Swimmers: Badge, technique training (breaststroke, backstroke, crawl,…) maximum 5 children per group!

Target group: 4 - 12 year olds

Membership fee: € 80.00
For organizational reasons, we ask for a registration by 18.07.2026 at the latest

Private Swimming Lessons

Where: Fürstenfeld outdoor pool

When: 25 - 30 June each at 3 pm / 4 pm / 5:00 pm

The times can be freely chosen on any full hour. One session lasts 1 hour.

Target group: 4 - 12 year olds

Cost: € 15.00 per hour

Tranquility and calm prevail on the spacious lawn areas. Thanks to the trees, there are also many shady spots to relax – you can even park your car nearby in the shade. Anyone wanting extra comfort can rent a deck chair and parasol and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a few hours.

Stadtwerke Fürstenfeld provides you with free Internet access via WLAN – WirelessLAN during your visit to the pool.

Turn on your laptop, start the Internet browser, log in and surf. Have fun and relax!

Our XL wooden marble run tower is located in the midst of the spacious outdoor pool grounds.

Starting from the outdoor pool car park, you can also reach this highlight of the Erlebniswelt Fürstenfeld - outside the opening hours of the outdoor pool - via the newly built footpath. At the same time, you can use this path to visit the Motorikpark® in the Buchwald. 22 varied Motorikpark® stations await you, connected by a 3 km circular route. You can also use this path to walk the Sagenpfad all the way to Altenmarkt.

Erlebniswelt Fürstenfeld

At several locations in the Fürstenfeld outdoor pool, a dedicated catering team looks after your culinary well-being.

Meals, snacks, ice cream and drinks are available during opening hours at the restaurant and the buffet.

Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 20:00.
Closed on Mondays from 19:00 due to water treatment. In case of bad weather, closing will take place at 19:00 on a substitute day.
